IMAGE Launch and In-Orbit-Checkout (IOC)
- DSN requirements/ IOC activities table
o Initial s/c turn-on and checkout of all subsystems
o Orbit acquisition takes place after separation and
continues during each pass at altitudes less than 2
o SI turn-on and aliveness checks
o Day 11 sees the first RPI radial deploy
2 contacts/day ~1 hour each
o Second radial RPI deploy
Nominal 2 contacts/day ~30
