Sandel (6) 1 - Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Center, Palo Alto, CA 2 - Southwest Research Institute, San Antonio, TX 3 - University of California, Berkeley, Berkeley, CA 4 - Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD 5 - University of Massachusetts Lowell, Lowell, MA 6 - University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ The main science objectives of IMAGE utilize multi-instrument capabilities of the mission. This talk focuses on various combinations of instruments from the mission and how these combinations have and in some cases will allow the important science questions of IMAGE to be answered. Examples of ion outflow from the ionosphere, auroral dynamics, ring current and plasmasphere interactions, and the location of the cusp will be presented. _______________ Presented at the Fall American Geophysical Union Meeting, San Francisco, CA., December 15-19, 2000
