Exploring the Earth's Magnetic Field.

This is a workbook of 23 activities spanning the needs of K-12 teachers who want to discuss Earth's magnetism in varying degrees of detail. In includes web-based activities, and a variety of hands-on experiments with magnets and electromagnetism. According to a NASA Education Resource Review, August 2001:

"This is a very good collection of hands-on experiences that encourage small group investigation and collaboration. It places an emphasis on setting up classroom exercises rather than just explaining space phenomena. The questions and problems posed for students to solve correlate well with the learning objectives. [It is a] nice collection and variety of well-written activities for all ages of students"
