IMAGE Views Same Plasmasphere Structures From Very Different Perspectives.

The plasma emission that is seen with the RPI instrument shows longitudinal electron plasma structures that appear around times what the satellite passes through the plasmasphere. These structures appear to be associated with previously observed radial, rotating enhanced density finger-like structures seen in the global plasmasphere images made by the IMAGE EUV imager.
