Are we currently in an ice age that has lasted millions of years?

From what I understand, we are living through a long period when ice ages come and go, but currently given the average length of such Ice Ages in the past, we are coming to the end of an inter-Ice Age period of warm conditions that has lasted about 10,000 years. However, man-made greenhouse heating by fossil fuel consumption may actually indefinitely delay the onset of the next Ice Age, due any millenium now! Pollution is good for something!
