Curiosity about the world around you is a built-in capacity of humans, especially young ones!
Your challenge is to turn that curiosity into something active, like exploring the world around you and learning about
all of its parts. Young scientists seem to have an easier time of doing this, and have an unusual memory for what appear to
be stray facts and information. Over time, the assorted facts they have encountered begin to build up into
a detailed picture of the world.
Because you are an explorer at heart, you like to physically go after new information
without being told to do this, or guided by an adult. You spend lots of time at the library looking through books. You look
under rocks, make maps of your neighborhood, study things under a magnifying glass, borrow your parent's binoculars...anything you can
think of to see a different slice of your world!
