Magnetic Storms from the Ground |

Students will become familiar with the Earth's changing magnetic field through a solar storm plotting activity. First, students will analyze graphical data to calculate the percent of change (an example is included). Next, students will plot their information on a map of Canada to determine the areas that are the most susceptible to magnetic storms. |
