Radio Waves and the Ionosphere |

Students will calculate the percent of change and determine the final percentage of radio wave strength at the receiving station. Students will learn that solar flares can cause disruptions in radio waves and that these radio waves lose a great amount of strength during a solar storm, which tends to cause disruptions to long distance communication. |
