Although the best viewing for the Aurora Borealis is near a latitude of +68o , because these curtains of light extend over 1,000 kilometers above the ground, they can be seen at other latitudes as well. In this activity: Students will read to perform a task. Students will construct a drawing to determine the optimum viewing angle of an aurora. |
